Hailed as the Festival of Festivals, Buglasan. It is an event for Negrenses to commemorate the rich culture of the whole Negros province. Buglasan Festival has been on its festivity since the 1990's. It is being dubbed as the Festival of Festivals since the fiestas all over Negros comes to Dumaguete City, and compete with their fellow municipalites enthusistic boasting lively and themed festivals. The Buglasan Festival is Negros Oriental's provincial movable feast, participated in by the Province's five component cities and 20 municipalities.

The Festival starts with a street parade around the city's streets and ends with a showdown of each municipality. From Manila, you can fly to Dumaguete (estimated cost of Php4,000 ++, round trip, one hour and 15 minutes). This is a way to expose the tourism of Cebu and nearby provinces.
